The Lovely Feathers release Hind Hind Legs

The guys who form The Lovely Feathers know a thing or two about loyalty. Even though the Montreal, Canada-based indie rock band has only been together for a short while some of the band mates have known each other since the early days of kindergarten. We must admit that it was the name of the band – The Lovely Feathers – that caught our attention first. At least it was enough to get us thinking who the heck are these guys and what is with the band name. We still haven’t come to a conclusion as to where The Lovely Feathers name came from but we did figure out that they can make some good music – a little something to get your head bopping at a live show. When you get the respect of bands such as Metric to tour with they must have something good up their sleeves. Now the guys are ready to show the world with a new debut album entitled "Hind Hind Legs" (Equator Records) and a tour to go with it. If you run right now you just might catch the local record shop opening up their box of fresh Hind Hind Legs CDs and placing them on the shelves. Today is the day the guys from The Lovely Feathers have been working very hard for as the new CD is born (released) today. To set it plan and simple, these guys are fun, talented, and produce a completely original sound.

Check out four of their new tracks that can be found on the new CD Hind Hind Legs on their MySpace site.

Today is the day that The Black Magic Show hits store shelves and the guys in Elefant will be holding their breath in hopes that it sells and sells well. Some think guys are still playing in the 80s well others think its pop-goth without any fun, either way the reviews are not too positive. Needless to say lets hope that the sophomoric release by Elefant will have some selling magic. Here are what some thought of The Black Magic Show:
