Cruiserweight TOUR and MSTRKRFT Remix it up

Notable cruiserweight champions include Evander Holyfield and James Toney, but we just might have found the next great champ from Austin, Texas and they are now ready to defend their title. The pop/indie-rock band Cruiserweight have a debut album out in stores now entitled "Sweet Weaponry" and a debut tour to go along with it. The tour known as the TOUR of the YEAR will also include touring guests Feable Weiner who hail from Tennessee. The tour kicks off tonight in Nashville, Tennessee and will continue along the southern US before heading to the Mid-west to close things out by May 27th.

Check out their MySpace site for tour details and sample tracks from their debut album.

It's time for a little Bumper Stumpers and your first (and only) puzzle is MSTRKRFT. To help you along here it would be good to know that this Toronto, Canada based due act are known for their electronic remixing of other indie/alternative songs and putting a big twist on them. You may know member Jesse Keeler since he is half of the group Death From Above 1979. The second half of the due who likes to be called Al-P is formly of the group Girls Are Short.

The guys released their first single Easy Love back in January of this year and have plans to release their first album in May entitled The Look.

Aside from the releases on the horizon, MSTRKRFT have plans to show off their skill on the road with a little tour here and there.

Check out their MySpace page for additional tour information and for more samples of their music.

If you haven't figured out the Bumper Stumper yet, MSTRKRFT is pronounced MasterKraft and I don't think you can purchase any of their material from your local Canadian Tire (Canada only)

A special thanks to The Prettiest Pony for MP3 links.

Bands are starting to drop out of the Coachella festival in California list its in style. Recent news has Hard-Fi announcing that they will not be making the trip to the sunny state to do their thing because frontman Richard Archer has come down with a throat infection. Just days ago we announced that The Subways also pulled out because of a similiar issue with their lead singer.
