Every Move A Picture have Signs of Life

The four-piece indie band Every Move A Picture from San Francisco, California had announced back in early February that they had finished recording their debut CD, which at the time was untitled. Now news is out that not only does the CD have a title, "Heart = Weapon", but it also has a release date. The album will be released under the label V2 on June 5th, if all goes according to plan.

You can expect to start hearing the new single "Signs of Life" off the album by May 22nd. However, if you can't wait for the release date, you can always check out the song via their MySpace site.

The guys from Every Move A Picture have plans to head over the pond to the United Kingdom for some shows between April 23rd and May 5th. Most nights they will be play with a unique guest to open and Forward Russia!. Check out the bands website for tour details.

Formed in 2004 yet another band seems to come out of Leeds, England. However, to compare Forward, Russia! with other Leeds artists would only put them in a league of their own. The quartet band is known to play powerful post-rock/punk screeching vocals during their live sets and now they are looking to put their talents onto a full length LP. Plans are that the guys will have a debut release entitled "Give Me A Wall" hitting store shelves on May 22nd.

Indie/pop with a little lounge band A.M. Sixy are getting some good exposure these days as their song "Summertime Girlfriend" is being used by corporate retail giant GAP in their latest tv commercial. The song has actually be around since 2004 but its never too late to get some extra publicity. Heck, we are doing the same thing now. Below are some links that can be followed for sounds and visual pleasure:
